Bundokin was born from a deeply personal journey of transformation.

After more than 20 years of honorable service in the United States Army, I transitioned into the defense industry, eventually reaching an executive-level position. From the outside, it looked like success—but behind the title and achievements, the relentless pace and pressures of corporate life began to take a heavy toll. I found myself longing for something more meaningful: peace, balance, and a deeper sense of purpose.

In 2018, that longing became a turning point. I embraced remote work and set out on a life-changing journey across the country, traveling more than 20,000 miles. Along the way, I immersed myself in some of the most remote places imaginable—camping, biking, hiking, and kayaking far from crowds and conveniences. In those quiet, wild spaces, I rediscovered clarity, resilience, and well-being. Nature became both my refuge and my teacher, restoring my mental focus, strengthening my body, and reshaping how I viewed life.

Bundokin is a reflection of that journey. It is more than a brand—it is a platform and a purpose. What began as a personal path to healing and balance has grown into a mission to help others to connect with nature, reclaim balance in their lives, and rediscover a sense of peace and vitality in an increasingly disconnected world.

Bundokin takes its name from the Tagalog word bundok, meaning mountain. It represents the spirit of remote camping—dispersed, dry, or wild—where adventure begins off the beaten path. Far from modern comforts, Bundokin is about fully immersing yourself in the raw, untamed beauty of nature.

From secluded beaches to rugged mountain trails, Bundokin celebrates a lifestyle rooted in exploration, simplicity, and freedom.
